Made in the USA and measuring approximately 8 inches high, Towle's gleaming silver-plated bell plays the traditional carol "O Holy Night" using a secret music-box mechanism. (Also discreetly hidden inside the bell, the winding key is easy to turn should you wish to hear the song again.) A pierced border of stars of Bethlehem surrounds the gracefully scalloped rim, just below "Christmas 2006" embossed in flowing script. A hanging loop and cheerful red ribbon complete the design. The included gift box makes this ornament an especially thoughtful and attractive present, but it's equally suited for collectors and anyone looking to commemorate a special year.
